Sami made her poetry TV debut on S1:E3 of Sky Arts commissioned show Life & Rhymes hosted by the late Benjamin Zephaniah. The show went on to win a BAFTA.

Author

Sami had her first poem published at the age of 9 and again at the ages of 10 and 11. She released her debut collection 20 Something in 2020 and has contributed poems to other publications since. Her next book is in progress.
